Support from the Isle of Misfit Technologies
The train has square wheels, but someone wants exactly that…right?

Many of the technology previews, tools and product enhancements available on Quark® Labs are very similar to a water gun that shoots jelly. They simply don’t fit into the traditional model that is used for developing and commercially releasing software. So it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that they fall outside of Santa’s normal view of what is supported by Quark’s traditional technical support channels. As luck would have it, however, some red-nosed product managers are shining a light on these misfits, and we hope to rescue them from their isolation. We’ve also given the product managers some cold medicine to help with that red glow. |
So what does this mean?
Simply put, we will use your feedback to adjust the jelly flavors of the water gun. We will have open, honest discussions with you about the spotted elephant on the forums. We will strengthen the legs of the cowboy’s ostrich with subsequent updates. But we can’t provide you direct support until these projects officially make their way off our island and onto Santa’s sleigh.
Work with us to prove the validity of the projects that are most beneficial to you, and we’ll do our best to get them into the mainstream and, at that point, fully supported. |
